For version 25, Brooks have added 3mm of DNA LOFT v3 cushioning in the forefoot, with an additional 1mm in the heel for added comfort.  The extra cushioning in the forefoot changes the profile of the shoe to a 10mm drop.

Guide rails provide stability, making this shoe suitable for runners needing support to correct overpronation.  Lateral Guiderail also provides support for calcaneal adduction in high deviators.
